Looking for summer courses? Explore the fundamentals of video creation with CMNS 2100 ST Intro to Video Production for PR and Journalism, SS2, TR 1230-320.

In collaboration with colleagues in Science, and Dr. Marianne Ignace from SFU, this course offers students a unique learning experience.

Students will build on their skills of reporting and storytelling while developing meaningful relationships with Indigenous communities.

Over the semester, students will produce a short news story, ‘streeters,’ soundscapes and a final 10-minute-long audio story.

Classes CMNS 2100: Intro to Audio Storytelling – using a journalistic framework, students will use the power of sound to produce short personal narratives and current affairs news stories.
