Creative Designer Position
Job Description:
The PHP Conference Committee is seeking an enthusiastic individual to fill the role of Creative Designer in the 2023/2024 school year. This person will be responsible for designing and printing all marketing materials for the conference, as well as creating eye-catching visual materials for our Facebook page and Twitter accounts. He/she/they will be able to produce artistic and eye-catching products electronically, and will report to the conference’s Co-Chairs. This person must be an undergraduate student at TRU for the entire duration of the conference planning process (2023/24 school year).
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing marketing materials for conference fundraisers and the conference itself
- Designing conference program
- Finding a cost-effective way to print all materials and getting this cost approved by the conference’s Treasurer
Skills & Abilities:
- Good organizational skills
- Good communication skills/able to work in a team
- Comfortable making quality posters in an electronic program (i.e. Canva, InDesign)

The conference will be held on January 19-20, 2024, and we will be hosting two fundraising events in October and November.
