30th Annual Kamloops Film Festival

The Kamloops Film Society are thrilled to present: the 30th Annual Kamloops Film Festival (KFF), running from March 5th to 14th, 2026, at the Paramount Theatre.

For three decades, the KFF has served as a bridge between global storytelling and our local community. This year’s anniversary program offers several high-value opportunities specifically for students and academics:

Award-Winning Cinema:

Screenings of 2026 Oscar-nominated films

Including The Secret Agent and the documentary Cutting Through Rocks.

Industry Insights:

The Learn About Film (LAF) seminar (March 7–8) provides hands-on workshops and networking with industry professionals—perfect for film, arts, and business students.

Local Talent:

The KISS (Kamloops Independent Short Shorts) Festival

on March 8th, showcasing regional filmmakers in a free public event.

Student Night:

A screening of Mile End Kicks with a pre-show set by a local band Janky Eyed Jury.

Canadian Perspectives:

Featured titles like Youngblood

(dir. Hubert Davis) and Meadowlarks

(dir. Tasha Hubbard) offers deep dives into contemporary Canadian identity and history.
