New Work Opportunities

The Omega is currently hiring for four positions, listed below:

Arts Editor

As The Omega’s arts editor, you will oversee contributors working on arts-related stories and produce two stories of your own each week, focusing on student artists and other local artists of interest to students, both on- and off-campus.

Staff Photographer

Our staff photographer will capture eye-catching images that often end up on our front cover, as well as event coverage, portraits and other assignments from editors. Additional opportunities, like putting together photo essays and social media posts, are also available. 

Staff Writer

Staff writers work under a section editor (arts, sports or news) and produce one story per week, either of their choosing or assigned to them by their editor.

Distributor/Promoter

This is more of a marketing role, but it may still be of interest. It’s a dual role that includes physically delivering the magazine to our on-campus pick-up spots once each month, as well as coming up with new ideas on how to increase our readership and presence on campus.
