Attention BIPOC Journalism Students!

In order to address the lack of cultural awareness and knowledge about diverse communities in Canada, and recognizing that systemic barriers continue to exist in the media, these awards are open to journalism students who are Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour.

With support from the B.C. Teachers’ Federation, the Foundation will grant up to two awards of $2,000 each to be paid towards tuition at the recipients’ schools.

  • Applicants must be enrolled full-time in the current fall and spring terms in any year at an eligible B.C. post-secondary journalism program
